Rauwolscine + Rucaparib Camsylate
Rucaparib Camsylate brand name: Rubraca.
Rauwolscine has a moderate interaction with Rucaparib Camsylate. Theoretically, rauwolscine might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2D6.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Rucaparib Camsylate
Rucaparib Camsylate falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Rauwolscine interacts with.
Rauwolscine is structurally related to yohimbine. In vitro research shows that yohimbine inhibits CYP2D6 enzyme activity.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the idea behind this pairing. Rauwolscine is a close cousin of yohimbine, and lab studies suggest yohimbine can slow down an enzyme called CYP2D6. Rucaparib (Rubraca) is partly handled by that same enzyme, and it works as-is, so it is not a prodrug that needs activating. If the enzyme is blocked, rucaparib could clear a bit more slowly and build up, which might mean more of its usual side effects like nausea, fatigue, low blood counts, or changes in taste.
I want to be honest though: this is a theoretical concern based on lab data, not real patient reports, so the actual risk is uncertain. Since you're being treated for cancer, please run any pre-workout or fat-burner supplement past your oncologist or pharmacist before starting it.

What These Ratings Mean
Every interaction above is graded three ways — here’s the key to each label.
Clinically significant. Avoid the combination, or use only under close professional supervision.
Usually worth avoiding or managing — may need monitoring, a dose change, or timing apart.
Generally not serious. Be aware of it and mention it to your pharmacist.
- LikelyWell-controlled human studies have demonstrated the likely existence of this interaction.
- ProbableInteraction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports.
- PossibleInteraction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
- UnlikelyInteraction has been demonstrated in animal or in lab research but has been shown not to occur in humans.
- AHigh-quality meta-analysis (quantitative systematic review).
- BCase-control study.

Rauwolscine (alpha-yohimbine) is a stimulant alkaloid closely related to yohimbine that is marketed mainly in fat-burning and pre-workout supplements. About Rucaparib
What Is Rucaparib Used For?
Brand name: Rubraca
Rubraca is used for the maintenance treatment of adults with recurrent epithelial ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer, or primary peritoneal cancer that carries a BRCA mutation — but only in people who have responded (fully or partially) to platinum-based chemotherapy.
Rubraca is also used to treat adults with BRCA-mutated metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) who have already been treated with androgen receptor-directed therapy. Patients must be confirmed to have a BRCA mutation before starting treatment, using an FDA-approved companion diagnostic test.
