Rauwolscine + Selumetinib Sulfate
Selumetinib Sulfate brand name: Koselugo.
Rauwolscine has a moderate interaction with Selumetinib Sulfate. Theoretically, rauwolscine may have antiplatelet effects and may increase the risk of bleeding if used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.

ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS
Why this applies to Selumetinib Sulfate
Selumetinib Sulfate falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Rauwolscine interacts with.
Rauwolscine is structurally related to yohimbine. In vitro research shows that yohimbine inhibits platelet aggregation.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the thing to keep in mind with rauwolscine and Koselugo (selumetinib). The concern on file is about bleeding, not about changing how selumetinib is broken down. The idea is that rauwolscine, like its cousin yohimbine, may make platelets a little less sticky, so it could in theory add to a bleeding risk. I want to be honest that this is theoretical, based mostly on lab studies, so it is a low-level worry rather than a proven problem.
Why it still matters here: selumetinib itself can cause some bleeding-type issues like nosebleeds and easy bruising, so stacking a supplement that nudges in the same direction isn't ideal. Please don't change anything on your own. Just run this combination past your oncology team or pharmacist first.

Rauwolscine (alpha-yohimbine) is a stimulant alkaloid closely related to yohimbine that is marketed mainly in fat-burning and pre-workout supplements.
