Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
SEIZURE THRESHOLD LOWERING DRUGS
Why this applies to Ticarcillin , Clavulanate
Ticarcillin , Clavulanate falls under SEIZURE THRESHOLD LOWERING DRUGS — the group Rauwolscine interacts with.
In animal research, intraperitoneal rauwolscine lowered the seizure threshold level of the drug metrazol.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the short version on combining rauwolscine with Timentin (ticarcillin/clavulanate). High-dose penicillin-type antibiotics like this one can, on rare occasions, lower the seizure threshold, meaning they make the brain a little more prone to a seizure (this is mostly a concern with very high doses or in people with kidney problems). Rauwolscine, a strong stimulant, may nudge things in the same direction. Stacked together, there's a theoretical chance of a higher seizure risk.
I want to be honest about the evidence here: this comes only from an animal study, not from people, so it's far from proven. Still, if you have a seizure history or kidney issues, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before mixing the two.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Ticarcillin , Clavulanate page
“Anyone receiving ticarcillin and clavulanate (Timentin) should treat this list with real care, and the place to start is the kidneys. The two major-rated entries, Siberian cocklebur and asarabacca, can each damage kidney function on their own, and stacking that harm on top of a kidney-stressing situation is the risk I would rule out be…”
