Diclofenac Sodium, Misoprostol falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) SUBSTRATES — the group Sesame interacts with.

Theoretically, sesame might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP2C9 substrates.
In vitro, sesame inhibits CYP2C9. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans.

Arthrotec combines diclofenac (an anti-inflammatory pain reliever) with misoprostol (added to protect your stomach). The diclofenac part is cleared from your body partly by a liver enzyme called CYP2C9. In lab testing, sesame compounds appear to slow that same enzyme down. If that happened in people, diclofenac could linger longer and build up, which in theory means more of its usual side effects, things like stomach upset, heartburn, ulcers or bleeding, fluid retention, or higher blood pressure.

Here's the reassuring part: this has only been seen in test tubes and animals, never confirmed in humans, and the sesame in everyday foods is unlikely to cause trouble. Concentrated sesame supplements are a bigger unknown, so check with your pharmacist or doctor before starting one.
