Conjugated Estrogens, Meprobamate falls under ESTROGENS — the group Strontium interacts with.

Theoretically, estrogens might reduce the excretion of strontium, potentially increasing its effects and adverse effects.
A small clinical study suggests that treatment with estrogens for 5-6 weeks might decrease urinary strontium excretion. The clinical significance of this interaction is unknown.

Here's the gist of it. PMB combines conjugated estrogens with meprobamate (a calming medicine), and it's the estrogen part that matters here. Estrogen isn't broken down by strontium. Instead, the concern runs the other way: estrogen may make your kidneys hold onto strontium a little longer, so less leaves in your urine. In theory, that could let strontium build up slightly and nudge up its effects (and any side effects).

I want to be honest about how soft this evidence is. It comes from a small study plus lab and animal work, and even the researchers say they don't know if it truly matters in real life. This isn't about your estrogen dose changing. To be safe, just run your strontium supplement past your pharmacist or doctor, especially given strontium's own heart-related cautions.
