Here's the gist for this combination product, which pairs conjugated estrogens with the anti-anxiety drug meprobamate. The estrogen part is processed by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Adrafinil turns into modafinil in your body, and modafinil can mildly speed up that same enzyme. Speeding things up means your body may clear the estrogen a little faster, which could weaken its benefit. For some women that might mean menopausal symptoms like hot flashes or night sweats creeping back.

I'll be honest with you: this one is theoretical, based on how the drugs work rather than real patient reports, and the effect is thought to be weak. Still, it's worth a quick chat with your doctor or pharmacist before combining them.
