Theoretically, fresh sweet clover might increase the risk of bleeding when used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
Fresh sweet clover contains coumarinic acids, which are converted to free coumarins during drying. Dicoumarol, which has anticoagulant activity, also has been found in some sweet clover preparations and can be formed if fresh sweet clover is allowed to spoil.

Here's the thing about Cangrelor (Kengreal): it's given through an IV in the hospital, usually during procedures like a stent placement, to keep your platelets from clumping and forming clots. It's not a pill you'd casually combine with a supplement at home. But it's worth understanding the concern anyway.

Sweet clover, especially if it has spoiled or fermented, can form dicoumarol, a compound with blood-thinning activity. Stacked on top of a strong antiplatelet drug like Cangrelor, that could theoretically add to your bleeding risk, meaning more bruising, oozing at IV or puncture sites, or harder-to-stop bleeding. This is based on pharmacology, not real-world reports, so don't panic. Just tell your care team about any supplements you've used so they can keep an eye on you.
