Bivalirudin falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Sweet Clover interacts with.

Theoretically, fresh sweet clover might increase the risk of bleeding when used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
Fresh sweet clover contains coumarinic acids, which are converted to free coumarins during drying. Dicoumarol, which has anticoagulant activity, also has been found in some sweet clover preparations and can be formed if fresh sweet clover is allowed to spoil.

Here's the simple version: bivalirudin (Angiomax) is already a powerful blood thinner that's given through an IV during heart procedures. Sweet clover can carry coumarin compounds, and if the plant has spoiled, it may even contain dicoumarol, which thins the blood on its own. Stack that on top of bivalirudin and you could nudge the bleeding risk a little higher, meaning easier bruising, oozing at puncture sites, or harder-to-stop bleeding.

I'll be honest with you though, this concern is theoretical, based on how these compounds behave rather than real cases with bivalirudin. Since this drug is only used in a hospital setting under close monitoring, just make sure your care team knows about any sweet clover you've taken so they can watch you.
