Silodosin falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Terminalia interacts with.

Theoretically, use of Terminalia arjuna may increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that Terminalia arjuna extract inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes and reduces CYP3A4 substrate metabolism.

Here's the gist with these two together. Your body uses an enzyme called CYP3A4 to clear silodosin (Rapaflo) out of your system. Lab studies hint that Terminalia arjuna may slow that enzyme down. If that happens in real life, silodosin could build up a bit higher than usual, which may bump up its typical side effects.

For silodosin specifically, that might mean more dizziness, lightheadedness when you stand up, a stuffy nose, or that harmless backward release of semen this drug is known for. The good news: this concern is theoretical, based only on test-tube data, so it may not amount to much. Still, before pairing them, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor.

Silodosin capsules are approved to treat the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) — the non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate that can make urination difficult, weak, or frequent. It helps ease those urinary symptoms so urine can flow more freely.

It is important to know that silodosin is not approved for treating high blood pressure, even though it affects certain receptors that can influence blood pressure.
