This combo pill mixes acetaminophen, caffeine, and codeine. The part that ties into Thunder God Vine here is the caffeine, which your body clears using an enzyme called CYP1A2. In lab dishes (not in real people yet), a compound in Thunder God Vine appears to slow that enzyme down. If it did the same in you, caffeine could linger longer and hit harder, meaning more jitteriness, a racing heart, trouble sleeping, or feeling wired.

I want to be honest about the strength here: this is theoretical, based on test-tube science only, and has never been reported in actual patients. So it is not a reason to panic. Since Thunder God Vine itself can be risky and needs supervision, please loop in your pharmacist or doctor before pairing the two.

Here's the gist of this combo. Lab studies (done in test tubes, not real people) suggest a compound in thunder god vine called triptolide may slow down a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. That same enzyme helps clear the caffeine in this product and also plays a role with codeine. If the enzyme runs slower, these ingredients could linger a little longer than usual.

In plain terms, you might notice more of caffeine's jittery, hard-to-sleep effects, or more of codeine's typical side effects like drowsiness, constipation, or nausea. To be fair, this is theoretical only and has not been seen in actual patients, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, since thunder god vine itself can be risky, please run this pairing past your own pharmacist or doctor first.
