Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES — the group Thunder God Vine interacts with.

Theoretically, thunder god vine might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP1A2 substrates.
In vitro research shows that triptolide, a constituent of thunder god vine, inhibits CYP1A2 enzymes in human microsomes. This interaction has not been reported in humans.

Here's the situation with Combogesic, which pairs acetaminophen and ibuprofen. Thunder God Vine contains a compound called triptolide that, in test-tube studies, slowed down a liver enzyme (CYP1A2). In theory, blocking that enzyme could let certain medicines build up a bit higher than usual.

I want to be straight with you, though: this is purely a lab-based, theoretical concern, and it has never actually been reported in real people. If levels did creep up, you might notice the usual suspects with these two ingredients, like stomach upset, heartburn, or feeling a little off. The bigger caution here is that Thunder God Vine itself can be toxic if it isn't dosed correctly. Please loop in your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
