Alogliptin, Pioglitazone falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Thunder God Vine interacts with.

Theoretically, thunder god vine might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that triptolide, a constituent of thunder god vine, inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes in human microsomes. This interaction has not been reported in humans.

If you take Oseni (alogliptin with pioglitazone) and you're thinking about Thunder God Vine, here's the gist. The pioglitazone part is partly cleared by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Lab studies suggest one compound in this herb (triptolide) may slow that enzyme down. In theory, that could let pioglitazone build up a bit, which might nudge up effects like low blood sugar, fluid retention, swelling in the legs, or weight gain.

I want to be honest though: this is only a theoretical concern from test-tube research, and it hasn't actually been seen in real patients. Thunder God Vine also carries its own toxicity risks and should only be used with a doctor's guidance. Before combining them, please check with your pharmacist or doctor.
