Indiplon is a sleep aid in the same family as drugs like zolpidem (Ambien), so its whole job is to calm down your brain and help you fall asleep. The concern here is simple: berberine, the active part of tree turmeric, has shown sedative effects in animal studies. Stacking a sedating supplement on top of a sleep medication could add to that calming effect.

In real life that might mean feeling more drowsy than expected, groggier in the morning, dizzy, or less steady on your feet. I want to be honest, though: this is theoretical and based only on lab and animal research, not human studies, so we don't truly know how strong it is in people. Still, since both push in the same direction, it's worth mentioning to your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
