We found no known interaction between Tronadora and Phendimetrazine in our sources. Absence of a documented interaction is not the same as proven safety, and does not guarantee one does not exist. Tronadora and Phendimetrazine
We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.
No Known Interaction Found
We did not find a documented interaction between Phendimetrazine and Tronadora in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — there is often limited research on supplements and herbal products, especially around drug interactions.
If you decide to take both, the practical routine is simple: add one new thing at a time and note the date you started it. If the combination is going to disagree with you, it usually shows in the first days to a couple of weeks — and a start date turns “I’ve been feeling off” into something a pharmacist can actually work with. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.
Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

Why No Interaction Is Listed for Phendimetrazine
Interactions in our licensed database are recorded against drug classes, not just single drug names. Phendimetrazine is filed under a single classification — oral drugs. Tronadora has documented interactions with 1 drug class — the most serious being antidiabetes drugs (moderate) — and none of Phendimetrazine’s classifications are among them.
Classification data comes from our licensed Natural Medicines dataset. A medication can belong to classes beyond those recorded there, so this describes how the check was run — it is not a safety guarantee.
Tronadora Does Interact With Other Medications
Tronadora has 86 moderate known drug interactions in our database — Phendimetrazine isn’t one of them. If you take anything else, check it against the full list below.

What Phendimetrazine Is Prescribed For, and What Tronadora Has Been Studied For
These two come up together because they touch the same health topic — not because they do the same job. Phendimetrazine is a prescription medicine with approved uses on its FDA label. Tronadora is a supplement: what follows is what researchers have looked at it for, and how strong that evidence is.
Phendimetrazine is prescribed for: Phendimetrazine tartrate is used to help manage exogenous obesity (excess body weight from outside causes like diet and lifestyle) as a short-term addition to a calorie-restricted diet. It is intended for adults with a BMI of 30 or higher, or a BMI of 27 or higher when other risk factors — such as high blood pressure, diabetes, or high cholesterol — are also present. It is approved for use as monotherapy only, meaning it must not be combined with other weight-loss drugs or stimulants. Both the tablet form and the extended-release capsule form are approved for this purpose.

Tronadora for diabetes
A small clinical trial in patients with type 2 diabetes shows that taking a combination of tronadora 100 mg and Guazuma ulmifolia 300 mg each before meals for 90 days modestly improves levels of fasting glucose and glycated hemoglobin when compared with taking placebo. Most patients were taking oral antidiabetic agents and or insulin.

Effectiveness ratings and the research summaries above are the verbatim record from the Natural Medicines database, which grades evidence from “Effective” down to “Insufficient Reliable Evidence To Rate”. A rating below the top of that scale means researchers have looked at it — not that it works, and never that it can stand in for a prescribed medicine. Do not stop or replace Phendimetrazine on your own; if you are taking Tronadora for the same health topic, tell your prescriber, especially if the medicine is being adjusted to a target.
See Every Supplement That Interacts With Phendimetrazine
This page covers Tronadora only. If you take other supplements — a multivitamin, a sleep aid, something for joints — the Phendimetrazine page lists 17 supplements it has a documented interaction with, worst first, each one explained.
The most serious there right now: Activated Charcoal (major), Coffee Charcoal (moderate), European Mandrake (moderate), Glucomannan (moderate) and Guar Gum (moderate).
By severity: 1 major · 7 moderate · 9 minor.
From our pharmacist’s overview on the Phendimetrazine page
“Of the 17 supplements on file for phendimetrazine, an appetite-suppressant stimulant prescribed short term for weight loss, activated charcoal is the one that demands real caution. Charcoal binds medications in the gut and can sharply cut how much of a drug your body absorbs, leaving you with less appetite control than your prescriptio…”

Where Tronadora and Phendimetrazine Sit Against Everything Else
Out of every supplement and medication people look up on HelloPharmacist, here is where these two land this week — and which way each has been moving.
#1,187 of 1,452 supplements looked up here in the last 7 days
#364 of 2,830 medications looked up here in the last 7 days
Position among everything looked up on this site, not a measure of how commonly either one is used or how important it is. A supplement can climb this list because of a news story. It counts every request to the page, automated ones included, and nothing here identifies anyone.

- Freshness: we automatically re-check this combination every week — this pair was last verified September 13, 2026. The Tronadora and Phendimetrazine records this page draws on were last updated July 10, 2026.
- What “no known interaction” means: no documented interaction in the sources above — not a guarantee of safety. Supplements are studied far less than prescription drugs, so we say exactly what the evidence supports, and nothing more.
About Tronadora
What is Tronadora?
- Blood sugar control / diabetes
- Digestive complaints
- Mild fever
- Yeast or fungal concerns
- Traditional 'tonic' use
Tronadora (Tecoma stans) is a flowering shrub used in Mexican and Latin American folk medicine, most often as a tea for diabetes and digestive complaints. Human evidence is very limited, so it should not replace proven treatments. Because it may affect blood sugar and its safety is not well studied, talk to your pharmacist or doctor before using it—and avoid it during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Tecoma stans · Bignoniaceae · Leaves, flowers, and sometimes roots and bark · Tea (infusion), dried herb, capsules, liquid extracts
An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Tronadora is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Tronadora record says about it on its own.
Tronadora: dosing
There is no established, standardized dose for Tronadora. Traditional use is often as a tea made from the dried leaves or flowers, but the amount of active compounds can vary a lot between products and batches. If you choose to use it, follow the directions on the product label and start low.
