Insulin Degludec falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Tronadora interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of tronadora and antidiabetes drugs might increase the risk of hypoglycemia. Clinical research suggests that a combination of tronadora and Guazuma ulmifolia reduce levels of fasting glucose in patients with type 2 diabetes, including those already taking antidiabetes agents. The effect of tronadora alone is unknown. Animal research is conflicting.

Here's the simple version: Tresiba (insulin degludec) is your long-acting insulin that keeps blood sugar steady through the day. Tronadora is a folk-medicine plant that some studies suggest may lower blood sugar on its own. Put the two together and you could end up with a bigger drop in blood sugar than you expected, meaning hypoglycemia. That can show up as shakiness, sweating, dizziness, confusion, or in serious cases passing out.

I want to be honest about the evidence here. This concern is mostly theoretical, and the clinical study that hinted at it actually combined tronadora with another plant, so tronadora's solo effect isn't really known. Still, since insulin is potent, it's worth caution. Please don't change your insulin dose on your own. If you'd like to try tronadora, check with your pharmacist or doctor first and watch your glucose readings closely.

What Is Insulin Degludec (rDNA Origin) Injection Used For?

Brand name: Tresiba

Insulin degludec (brand name Tresiba) is used to improve blood sugar (glucose) control in adults and children 1 year of age and older who have diabetes mellitus — including both type 1 and type 2 diabetes.

It is not recommended for treating diabetic ketoacidosis (a dangerous complication of diabetes that requires a different type of treatment). In people with type 1 diabetes, insulin degludec must always be used together with a short-acting insulin.
