Glucagon falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Tronadora interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of tronadora and antidiabetes drugs might increase the risk of hypoglycemia. Clinical research suggests that a combination of tronadora and Guazuma ulmifolia reduce levels of fasting glucose in patients with type 2 diabetes, including those already taking antidiabetes agents. The effect of tronadora alone is unknown. Animal research is conflicting.

Here's a twist worth knowing: Glucagon does the opposite of most diabetes medicines. You don't take it daily to keep sugar down. Instead, it's a rescue treatment (the Baqsimi nasal powder or an injection) used in an emergency when blood sugar crashes too low. It works by signaling your liver to dump stored sugar into your blood and bring you back up fast.

The concern on file is that Tronadora may lower blood sugar. So while it won't block Glucagon from working in the moment, it leans in the same direction as a low-sugar problem, which is exactly what Glucagon is fighting against. Keep in mind this evidence is mostly theoretical and based on weak studies. Please loop in your pharmacist or doctor before mixing the two.
