Dulaglutide falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Tronadora interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of tronadora and antidiabetes drugs might increase the risk of hypoglycemia. Clinical research suggests that a combination of tronadora and Guazuma ulmifolia reduce levels of fasting glucose in patients with type 2 diabetes, including those already taking antidiabetes agents. The effect of tronadora alone is unknown. Animal research is conflicting.

Here's the gist: Tronadora (a folk-medicine tea from the Tecoma stans plant) may gently lower blood sugar on its own. Your Trulicity (dulaglutide) already works hard to bring your numbers down, so layering the two together could push your blood sugar lower than you intend. That can show up as shakiness, sweating, a racing heart, dizziness, or feeling foggy and irritable.

I want to be honest about the evidence here. The blood-sugar drop was mostly seen when tronadora was combined with another herb, and tronadora's effect by itself isn't well proven, so this is more of a theoretical caution than a sure thing. There's no special enzyme conflict, just two things nudging sugar the same direction. Before you try the tea, check in with your pharmacist or doctor, and keep an eye on your home readings.

What Is Dulaglutide Injection Used For?

Brand name: Trulicity

Trulicity (dulaglutide) injection is used alongside diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults and children 10 years and older with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is not for type 1 diabetes.

Trulicity is also used in adults with type 2 diabetes who have established cardiovascular disease or multiple cardiovascular risk factors to lower the risk of major heart events — specifically cardiovascular death, non-fatal heart attack, or non-fatal stroke.
