Here's the gist: insulin already lowers your blood sugar, and some early lab and animal studies hint that turkey tail mushroom may nudge blood sugar down a little too. Put the two together and there's a theoretical chance your numbers could drop lower than expected. That could show up as the usual low-sugar signs like shakiness, sweating, dizziness, a racing heart, confusion, or feeling suddenly hungry.

I want to be honest about the strength of this, though. The evidence here is weak and mostly from animal research, so for most people it's a minor concern rather than a red flag. Still, since insulin doses are dialed in carefully, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding turkey tail, and keep monitoring your blood sugar like usual.
