Here's a little twist worth knowing about. Glucagon isn't a daily diabetes pill that lowers your sugar. It's actually the opposite. It's an emergency rescue medicine that tells your liver to dump stored sugar into your blood to pull you out of a dangerous low. So while turkey tail mushroom is loosely grouped with "antidiabetes drugs," it works against what glucagon is trying to do.

The concern on file is purely theoretical and comes only from animal studies, where turkey tail seemed to nudge blood sugar down a bit. If you keep taking it, it could in theory make a low harder to fully reverse. This is very weak evidence, so please don't be alarmed, but do mention the supplement to your pharmacist or doctor.
