Tolbutamide (Mobenol) is an older sulfonylurea that lowers your blood sugar by nudging your pancreas to release more insulin. Here's the thing to keep on your radar: turkey tail mushroom may have a mild blood-sugar-lowering effect of its own. If you take both, those effects could stack up and push your sugar down a little too far.

That said, the evidence here is thin. It comes mostly from animal and lab studies, not real people, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, watch for signs of low blood sugar like shakiness, sweating, dizziness, or feeling suddenly hungry or confused. Don't change anything on your own. Just give your pharmacist or doctor a heads-up before adding turkey tail so they can keep an eye on your numbers.
