Vicodin and Norco combine acetaminophen with hydrocodone, an opioid that can make you feel drowsy, foggy, or lightheaded and can slow your breathing at higher doses. The concern here is simple: if yerba mansa has any mild calming or sedating quality of its own, pairing it with hydrocodone could, in theory, pile on top of that drowsiness.

I'll be honest, this is a theoretical caution based on how these things work, not solid human studies, so I don't want you to panic. Still, since hydrocodone already affects alertness and breathing, it's worth being cautious. Watch for extra sleepiness or feeling off, avoid driving until you know how you react, and check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
