HelloPharmacist Scorecard of Dypan-ACM by Wonder Laboratories
Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Partial disclosure
Dypan-ACM contains 10 active ingredients, including amino acids (L-aspartic acid and L-glutamic acid), a digestive enzyme blend (papain, lipase, protease, amylase, pepsin, and pancreatin), vitamin B12, betaine hydrochloride, and chromium. The enzymes and betaine are meant to support digestion and nutrient breakdown; B12 and chromium serve other metabolic roles.
The tablet also contains inactive ingredients—calcium phosphate, vegetable cellulose, vegetable stearic acid, vegetable magnesium stearate, silica, and vanillin—which are fillers and binders to hold the tablet together.
Does it work?
Strong evidence
The evidence for Dypan-ACM's ingredients is mixed. Vitamin B12 is effective for B12 deficiency itself and likely effective for cyanide poisoning; it's also possibly effective for canker sores and postherpetic neuralgia (nerve pain after shingles).
Chromium is likely effective for chromium deficiency and possibly effective for diabetes, though research on prediabetes suggests it may not help there. The remaining ingredients—L-aspartic acid, papain, lipase, protease, pepsin, betaine hydrochloride, and L-glutamic acid—all lack reliable evidence in the research we hold; we cannot rate them as effective for the conditions they're marketed for, including athletic performance, muscle strength, digestion, or inflammation.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Vitamin B12 is generally very safe and well tolerated, with no established upper limit because excess is removed in your urine; it's considered safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding at recommended amounts. Chromium is usually well tolerated at typical supplement doses, though high or long-term doses may pose risks; small amounts from diet or prenatal vitamins are acceptable in pregnancy, but extra supplement doses should be avoided unless your doctor recommends them.
Papain can cause digestive upset and allergic reactions in sensitive individuals, and concentrated papain or unripe papaya products should be avoided in pregnancy. L-aspartic acid has limited long-term safety data at high supplement doses and should be avoided in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Betaine hydrochloride may irritate the stomach and is unsafe for people with ulcers, gastritis, or acid reflux; it should be avoided in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Lipase, protease, and pepsin are generally well tolerated but have little safety data in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before you take Dypan-ACM, check with your doctor or pharmacist if you take warfarin or other blood thinners, diabetes medications, insulin, levothyroxine (Synthroid) or other thyroid drugs, H2-blockers or proton pump inhibitors (acid-reducing medications), antacids, NSAIDs or aspirin, or metformin. These are the medication types where interactions have been documented with ingredients in this product.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glancePartially disclosed formula with clinical evidence supporting its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
Dypan-ACM is a digestive enzyme and micronutrient blend with documented interactions affecting a broad range of blood-thinners, diabetes drugs, thyroid medication, and acid-reducing medications. If you take any prescription medication—especially for blood clotting, diabetes, thyroid function, or stomach acid—talk it over with your own doctor or pharmacist before starting this supplement.
Vitamin B12 is the safest ingredient here; the digestive enzymes and chromium carry the most caution.

Dypan-ACM by Wonder Laboratories Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Dypan-ACM by Wonder Laboratories does interact with medications, primarily through its papain, vitamin B12, betaine hydrochloride, and chromium content.
The most serious interaction is papain's potential to increase the blood-thinning effects of warfarin (Coumadin), a Moderate severity concern documented in a case where a stable patient's blood-thinner level spiked dangerously after taking a papain-containing supplement.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Chromium poses Moderate interactions with three drug categories: it may lower blood sugar too far when combined with diabetes medications or insulin (raising the risk of low blood sugar), and it may reduce how well your body absorbs levothyroxine (Synthroid), a thyroid medication—research shows chromium can cut levothyroxine levels by about 17%. Chromium may also interact with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and aspirin (Minor severity), potentially raising chromium levels in your blood.
Betaine hydrochloride, which increases stomach acid, can reduce the effectiveness of acid-reducing medications: H2-blockers, antacids, and proton pump inhibitors (PPIs)—all Minor severity. Vitamin B12 has a Minor interaction with metformin (Glucophage), the common diabetes medication, which can lower your B12 levels over time with prolonged use.
Altogether, these interactions span 208 individual medications. We could not check L-glutamic acid or amylase because we hold no data for them.

For each ingredient in Dypan-ACM with known interactions, here are the types of medications they can affect. Open any type for the detail — or search your exact drug in the checker above.
Chromium
Antidiabetes Drugs
Theoretically, chromium may have additive effects with antidiabetic agents and increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
Some research shows that taking chromium might lower blood glucose levels, especially in patients with poorly controlled type 2 diabetes.
Insulin
Theoretically, concomitant use of chromium and insulin might increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
In clinical research, chromium has been shown to increase insulin sensitivity,
Levothyroxine (Synthroid, Others)
Chromium might bind levothyroxine in the intestinal tract and decrease levothyroxine absorption.
Clinical research in healthy volunteers shows that taking chromium picolinate 1000 mcg with levothyroxine 1 mg decreases serum levels of levothyroxine by 17% when compared to taking levothyroxine alone. Advise patients to take levothyroxine at least 30 minutes before or 3-4 hours after taking chromium.
Aspirin
Theoretically, aspirin might increase chromium absorption.
Animal research suggests that aspirin may increase chromium absorption and chromium levels in the blood.
Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (Nsaids)
NSAIDs might increase chromium levels in the body.
Drugs that are prostaglandin inhibitors, such as NSAIDs, seem to increase chromium absorption and retention.
Betaine Hydrochloride
Antacids
Betaine hydrochloride increases stomach acidity and could decrease the effects of antacids.
In human research, betaine hydrochloride increases stomach acidity. Antacids are taken to decrease stomach acidity. Theoretically, taking betaine hydrochloride along with antacids might decrease the effects of the antacids.
H2-Blockers
Betaine hydrochloride increases stomach acidity and could decrease the effects of H2-blockers.
In human research, betaine hydrochloride increases stomach acidity. H2-blockers are used to decrease stomach acidity. Theoretically, taking betaine hydrochloride along with H2-blockers might decrease the effects of H2-blockers.
Proton Pump Inhibitors (Ppis)
Betaine hydrochloride increases stomach acidity and could decrease the effects of PPIs.
In human research, betaine hydrochloride increases stomach acidity. PPIs are used to decrease stomach acidity. Theoretically, taking betaine hydrochloride along with PPIs might decrease the effects of PPIs
Vitamin B12
Metformin (Glucophage)
Metformin, a common medication used to manage type 2 diabetes, has been associated with lower vitamin B12 levels in some individuals. Prolonged use of metformin can interfere with the absorption of B12 in the digestive system, potentially leading to a deficiency in this essential vitamin.
Papain
Warfarin (Coumadin)
Theoretically, papain might increase the effects and side effects of warfarin.
In one case report, a patient previously stable on warfarin was found to have an international normalization ratio (INR) of 7.4, which was attributed to ingestion of a supplement containing papain from papaya extract.
