The evidence for Max Pump's ingredients is limited. Betaine anhydrous is effective for homocystinuria and possibly effective for elevated homocysteine in the blood; for other uses listed (fatty liver disease, colorectal health, mood, and reflux), the evidence is too thin to rate.
Agmatine has been studied for athletic performance, mood, anxiety, and brain health conditions like Alzheimer's disease and autism, but in all these areas the evidence is insufficient to establish whether it actually works. You're essentially taking ingredients with unproven benefits for performance or muscle gain.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Betaine anhydrous is generally well tolerated at studied doses, but the safety data isn't complete — check with your doctor or pharmacist before use. Common side effects include body odor, diarrhea, elevated cholesterol, stomach upset, nausea, and vomiting.
A rare serious effect is brain swelling (cerebral edema). Agmatine is well tolerated short-term, but long-term safety in humans hasn't been well studied.
Common side effects are diarrhea, indigestion, and nausea; these appeared within 2–3 days in a small number of trial participants and resolved when they stopped taking it. Agmatine should be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding — there isn't enough safety data either way.

Suggested use: As a dietary supplement take 4 capsules with food 30 minutes prior to workout. On non-training days consume 4 capsules with food. For optimal results use Max Pump for 4-8 weeks. Do not use for more than 90 days consecutively.
