Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea) + Aliskiren
Aliskiren brand name: Tekturna.
Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea) has a moderate interaction with Aliskiren. Theoretically, BMPEA might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Aliskiren
Aliskiren falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea) interacts with.
In vitro research shows that BMPEA inhibits CYP3A4 by up to 37%.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the basic idea with aliskiren (Tekturna) and BMPEA. Aliskiren is partly cleared by an enzyme in your body called CYP3A4. In lab dish studies, BMPEA appears to slow that enzyme down a bit (by roughly a third). If that holds true in people, your body might clear aliskiren a little slower, so its levels could creep up. With aliskiren, that could mean your blood pressure drops more than expected, leaving you dizzy, lightheaded, or tired. It can also raise potassium, so feeling weak or having an odd heartbeat would be worth mentioning.
I'll be honest, this is theoretical and based only on test-tube data, not real patients. On top of that, BMPEA is an unapproved stimulant that's best avoided on its own. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before mixing the two.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Aliskiren page
“Aliskiren (Tekturna) has one job, keeping blood pressure down, and most of this list pulls on that same rope. Of the 227 supplements with an interaction on file, 119 have blood-pressure effects of their own, stacking with the drug until pressure drops too far (fish oil is a common one) or pushing back against it.”

About Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea)
What is Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea)?
- Weight loss
- Pre-workout energy
- Athletic performance
- Appetite suppression
- Mental focus
Beta-methylphenethylamine (BMPEA) is a synthetic stimulant chemically similar to amphetamine that has been found in some weight-loss and sports supplements, often without being clearly listed on the label. It is not an approved or well-studied dietary ingredient, and regulators have warned that it may carry real cardiovascular risks. Because of safety concerns and the lack of human research, it is best avoided.
About Aliskiren
What Is Aliskiren Used For?
Brand name: Tekturna
Aliskiren tablets — available as the brand Tekturna and as generic aliskiren — are used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults and in children who are at least 6 years old and weigh 50 kg (about 110 lbs) or more. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of strokes and heart attacks.
Controlling blood pressure is most effective as part of a broader plan that may include healthy eating, exercise, reducing sodium, and managing other risk factors like cholesterol and blood sugar. Many people need more than one blood pressure medicine to reach their goal.

Natural Medicines records Aliskiren as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Beta-methylphenethylamine (bmpea) — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
