Here's the bigger-picture concern with these two together. Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) is itself a stimulant that revs up your system, and BMPEA is an unapproved stimulant chemically related to amphetamine. So even before we talk about enzymes, you're essentially stacking one stimulant on top of another, which can push your heart rate and blood pressure higher and add to jitteriness, trouble sleeping, and anxiety.

On top of that, lab studies suggest BMPEA can block CYP2D6, one enzyme that helps clear amphetamine from your body. If that pathway slows down, the active drug could linger and hit a little harder. This part is theoretical and based only on test-tube data, but given the doubled stimulant effect, I'd really run this by your doctor or pharmacist first.

Here's the simple version: Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) is already a stimulant, so it nudges up your heart rate and blood pressure on its own. BMPEA is an amphetamine-like stimulant too. Stack the two and you're essentially pressing the gas pedal twice. The worry is additive strain on the heart, things like a racing or pounding heartbeat, higher blood pressure, jitteriness, trouble sleeping, and in rare cases more serious cardiac events.

I'll be straight with you: this concern is based on how these chemicals behave, not on solid human studies, so it's theoretical. But BMPEA is an unapproved, often hidden ingredient with real cardiovascular flags, so I'd steer clear while you're on Vyvanse. Please check with your doctor or pharmacist before mixing anything like this.

It is not approved or recommended for weight loss, and its safety and effectiveness for treating obesity have not been established. It is not recommended in children under 6 years old.
