Erythromycin, Sulfisoxazole falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Bulbine Natalensis interacts with.

Theoretically, Bulbine natalensis stem might reduce the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that Bulbine natalensis stem extract induces CYP3A4 mRNA expression and enzyme activity. Theoretically, this may increase the metabolism of CYP3A4 substrates, but this has not been studied in humans.

Here's the gist for your Eryzole (erythromycin plus sulfisoxazole): the erythromycin part is cleared by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Lab and animal studies suggest Bulbine natalensis may speed that enzyme up. In theory, that could clear the erythromycin out of your body a little faster, which might make it slightly less effective at knocking out the infection you're treating. Erythromycin isn't a prodrug, so faster breakdown means weaker antibiotic effect, not stronger.

The honest part: this is only a theory from test-tube and animal work, never shown in real people, so I wouldn't panic. Still, when you're fighting an infection, you don't want anything dialing your antibiotic down. Please run it past your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

Here's the short version on combining Bulbine natalensis with Eryzole (erythromycin plus sulfisoxazole). The erythromycin part of this combo can be moved around the body by a transporter called p-glycoprotein. In a lab dish, Bulbine extract appeared to turn up the gene for that transporter. If it actually behaves that way in people, it could push more erythromycin out, which might lower its levels and make the antibiotic work less well against your infection.

I want to be honest with you though: this is purely test-tube data, and the researchers never confirmed the transporter actually changed. So it's a theoretical concern, not a proven problem. Given that Bulbine also raises liver and kidney safety questions, I'd run it by your pharmacist or doctor before using both.
