Drospirenone, Estetrol falls under HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS — the group Camphor interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of camphor with other hepatotoxic drugs might increase the risk of liver damage.
There have been a few case reports of transient elevations in liver enzymes in adults after oral or topical use of camphor. There has also been one case of hepatotoxicity in an infant after topical camphor use.

Here's the gist for your birth control pill, Nextstellis (drospirenone and estetrol). This isn't about camphor changing how the pill works or affecting how well it prevents pregnancy. The concern is purely about the liver. Birth control pills can occasionally stress the liver, and camphor has been tied to a handful of cases where liver enzymes briefly went up after it was used on the skin or swallowed.

The worry is that combining two things that can both tax the liver might add up. I'll be honest: this is theoretical, based on how these substances behave, not on strong proof. For most people using a camphor rub now and then on the skin in normal amounts, this isn't a big deal. Just never swallow camphor, and check with your pharmacist if you have liver concerns or notice yellowing skin, dark urine, or belly pain.
