Casein Peptides + Nadolol
Nadolol brand names: Corgard, Nadolol.
Casein Peptides has a moderate interaction with Nadolol. Theoretically, combining these casein peptides with antihypertensive drugs might increase the risk of hypotension.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS
Why this applies to Nadolol
Nadolol falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Casein Peptides interacts with.
Clinical research shows that some casein peptides, including the lactotripeptides isoleucine-proline-proline (IPP) and valine-proline-proline (VPP), can modestly reduce blood pressure in patients with hypertension.
Interaction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports..
Nadolol is a beta blocker that already works to lower your blood pressure and slow your heart rate. Casein peptides may nudge blood pressure down a little on their own, partly by blocking ACE, the same enzyme some blood pressure drugs target. So the concern here isn't about your liver breaking down nadolol differently. It's simply that two blood-pressure-lowering effects can stack up.
The realistic worry is that your blood pressure drops a bit too low. Watch for dizziness, lightheadedness when you stand, tiredness, or feeling faint. The evidence is modest and the blood pressure effect from these peptides is usually small, but if you want to try them, check in with your pharmacist or doctor first, especially if your readings already run low.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Nadolol page
“If you take nadolol (Corgard) for blood pressure, angina, or heart rhythm, treat this list with real care, and green tea is the surprise at the top. In a clinical study, green tea cut nadolol blood levels by roughly 85 percent, which can quietly leave you undertreated.”

About Casein Peptides
What is Casein Peptides?
- High blood pressure
- Stress and relaxation
- Sleep support
- General wellness/protein supplement
Casein peptides are small protein fragments made from milk casein, often studied for mild blood pressure support and relaxation. The evidence is limited and mostly modest, so they should not replace proven treatments. People with milk allergy should avoid them, and anyone with a health condition should check with a pharmacist or doctor first.
About Nadolol
What Is Nadolol Used For?
Brand names: Corgard, Nadolol
Nadolol tablets are used for two main conditions: high blood pressure (hypertension) and angina pectoris (ongoing chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart). Lowering high blood pressure reduces the risk of stroke and heart attack.
For high blood pressure, nadolol may be prescribed on its own or combined with other blood pressure medications, especially thiazide-type diuretics (water pills). For angina, it is used for long-term management to help reduce how often chest pain occurs.

Natural Medicines records Nadolol as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Casein Peptides — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
