Theoretically, combining these casein peptides with antihypertensive drugs might increase the risk of hypotension.
Clinical research shows that some casein peptides, including the lactotripeptides isoleucine-proline-proline (IPP) and valine-proline-proline (VPP), can modestly reduce blood pressure in patients with hypertension.

Here's the thing to keep in mind with these two together: lisinopril is an ACE inhibitor, meaning it lowers blood pressure by blocking the same ACE enzyme that those milk-derived lactotripeptides (IPP and VPP) appear to nudge in the lab. So you've got two things working in the same direction. Stacking them could push your blood pressure a little lower than lisinopril alone.

In real life that might show up as dizziness, lightheadedness when you stand up, tiredness, or feeling faint. The blood-pressure effect from casein peptides is generally modest and the evidence is fairly limited, so this isn't an emergency. Still, if you're thinking about a casein peptide supplement, run it by your pharmacist or doctor first, and let them know if you notice any of those symptoms.

About Lisinopril

What Is Lisinopril Used For?

Brand names: Zestril, Prinivil, Qbrelis

Lisinopril treats high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults and children 6 years and older, and can be used alone or alongside other blood pressure medicines. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of strokes and heart attacks. The tablet combination product containing lisinopril and hydrochlorothiazide is specifically indicated for high blood pressure.

Lisinopril is also used as an add-on therapy to reduce signs and symptoms of systolic heart failure, and to reduce the risk of death in people who are hemodynamically stable (have reasonably stable circulation) within 24 hours of an acute heart attack (acute myocardial infarction).
