Casein Peptides + Treprostinil
Casein Peptides has a moderate interaction with Treprostinil. Theoretically, combining these casein peptides with antihypertensive drugs might increase the risk of hypotension.

ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS
Why this applies to Treprostinil
Treprostinil falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Casein Peptides interacts with.
Clinical research shows that some casein peptides, including the lactotripeptides isoleucine-proline-proline (IPP) and valine-proline-proline (VPP), can modestly reduce blood pressure in patients with hypertension.
Interaction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports..
Treprostinil (Orenitram) is a medicine used for pulmonary arterial hypertension. It widens blood vessels, and one of its known effects is lowering your blood pressure, which can cause dizziness, lightheadedness, headache, or flushing, especially when you stand up.
Casein peptides may gently nudge blood pressure down too, partly by blocking the same ACE enzyme some blood pressure pills target. So stacking them with Treprostinil could, in theory, add up and push your pressure a bit lower than expected. The evidence here is modest and the blood pressure drop from casein peptides is usually small, but since Treprostinil already lowers pressure, it is worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding a concentrated supplement. Watch for new dizziness or feeling faint.

About Casein Peptides
What is Casein Peptides?
- High blood pressure
- Stress and relaxation
- Sleep support
- General wellness/protein supplement
Casein peptides are small protein fragments made from milk casein, often studied for mild blood pressure support and relaxation. The evidence is limited and mostly modest, so they should not replace proven treatments. People with milk allergy should avoid them, and anyone with a health condition should check with a pharmacist or doctor first.
About Treprostinil
What Is Treprostinil Used For?
Treprostinil treats pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH; WHO Group 1) — high blood pressure in the arteries of the lungs. Depending on the product and route, it is used to improve exercise ability, delay disease progression, or reduce symptoms tied to physical activity. Remodulin and treprostinil injection products are also indicated for patients who need to transition away from another PAH medicine called epoprostenol.
Tyvaso, Tyvaso DPI, and Yutrepia (inhaled forms) are additionally approved to treat pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD; WHO Group 3) — lung-pressure problems caused by scarring or inflammation in the lung tissue itself. Orenitram (extended-release oral tablet) is specifically indicated to delay disease progression and improve exercise capacity in PAH.
