Hydrocodone, Pseudoephedrine, Chlorpheniramine falls under PHOTOSENSITIZING DRUGS — the group Cilantro interacts with.

Evidence from in vitro research suggests that coriandrin, a constituent of cilantro, has photosensitizing effects. Theoretically, concomitant use with photosensitizing drugs might increase photosensitivity. Some drugs that cause photosensitivity include amitriptyline (Elavil), quinolones (Ciprofloxacin, others), sulfa drugs (Septra, Bactrim, others), and tetracycline.

Here's the gist with Zutripro (hydrocodone, pseudoephedrine, and chlorpheniramine) and cilantro. A compound in cilantro called coriandrin has shown the ability to make skin more sensitive to sunlight in lab tests. This combo cough-and-cold medicine is one of many drugs loosely flagged as possibly sun-sensitizing, so the theory is that pairing them might make you sunburn a little easier.

I want to be honest though: this is only a theoretical concern based on test-tube research, not real patient reports, and normal food amounts of cilantro almost certainly won't matter. Concentrated cilantro supplements or essential oil are a different story. If you're using one of those, a little sunscreen and shade is sensible. Have questions? Your pharmacist is happy to help.
