Acetylsalicylic acid falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Cnidium interacts with.

Laboratory research shows that osthol, a constituent of cnidium, inhibits blood clotting and the activity of platelets. Theoretically, cnidium might increase the risk of bleeding when used with antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs.
Some anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs include aspirin, clopidogrel (Plavix), dalteparin (Fragmin), enoxaparin (Lovenox), heparin, ticlopidine (Ticlid), warfarin (Coumadin), and others.

Here's the thing to keep in mind: aspirin already works by making your platelets less sticky, which is why it helps prevent clots but can also raise bleeding risk. Cnidium contains a compound called osthole that, in lab and animal studies, also slowed down clotting and platelet activity. So in theory, pairing the two could nudge your bleeding risk a little higher than aspirin alone.

I want to be honest about the evidence here. This is only test-tube and animal research, not studies in people, so we don't truly know how meaningful it is. Still, watch for things like easy bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or cuts that take longer to stop. If you take aspirin regularly, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding cnidium rather than changing anything on your own.
