These two interact in 2 distinct ways. Each one is explained separately below.
Why Are There 2 Interactions?
Cnidium interacts with whole categories of medication. Aspirin, Hydrocodone falls into 2 of those categories, so it can interact with Cnidium in 2 different ways. We’ve listed each one below — your overall risk is driven by the most serious of them (Moderate).
CNS DEPRESSANTS
1 of 2Why this applies to Aspirin, Hydrocodone
Aspirin, Hydrocodone falls under CNS DEPRESSANTS — the group Cnidium interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
This combination pill pairs aspirin with hydrocodone, an opioid pain reliever. The piece that matters here is the hydrocodone, since it already slows down the brain a bit, causing drowsiness, slower breathing, and that foggy, relaxed feeling. In lab and animal studies, cnidium (mainly its coumarin compound osthole) showed sedative, sleep-promoting effects. So the worry is simple: stacking the two could add up to extra sleepiness, dizziness, or slowed breathing.
Now, please don't lose sleep over this. This is a theoretical concern from test-tube and animal work, not from people taking them together. Still, since hydrocodone is already a sedating opioid, I'd run cnidium past your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, just to be safe.

ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS
2 of 2Aspirin, Hydrocodone also falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS.
Some anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs include aspirin, clopidogrel (Plavix), dalteparin (Fragmin), enoxaparin (Lovenox), heparin, ticlopidine (Ticlid), warfarin (Coumadin), and others.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
The combo pill you're asking about pairs aspirin with the opioid hydrocodone. The piece that matters here is the aspirin. Aspirin already thins your blood by keeping platelets from clumping together. Cnidium contains a compound called osthole that, in lab and animal studies, also slows platelets and clotting. So stacking them could, in theory, nudge your bleeding risk a bit higher.
In real life that might look like bruising more easily, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or stomach upset that takes longer to settle. I'll be honest though: this concern comes only from test-tube and animal research, not from people, so it's more theoretical than proven. Still, before adding cnidium, run it by your pharmacist or doctor, especially if you bleed easily or take other blood thinners.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Aspirin, Hydrocodone page
“Combining supplements with aspirin and hydrocodone (Lortab ASA, Alor 5 500) deserves real vigilance, because this medication carries two separate kinds of risk. Aspirin thins the blood, and by far the largest share of these interactions can add to that effect and raise bleeding risk.”
