Here's the gist with Excedrin (which combines acetaminophen, aspirin, and caffeine) and DHEA. There's some early lab-based hint that DHEA might slow down a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. If that enzyme runs slower, drugs it handles can build up a little. Of these three ingredients, caffeine is the one most likely to be nudged, so in theory you could feel more of caffeine's effects, like jitteriness, a racing heart, or trouble sleeping.

Honestly, though, this is theoretical and based only on weak, anecdotal evidence, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. The bigger picture is that DHEA is a hormone with its own real effects. If you take both regularly, just check in with your pharmacist or doctor first.

Here's the thing to know about products like Excedrin Migraine: they contain aspirin, which is already a blood thinner that keeps your platelets from clumping together. Lab and some human studies suggest DHEA can do a little of the same thing, dialing down platelet stickiness. Stack the two and, in theory, you may bruise more easily or notice that small cuts, nosebleeds, or gums take longer to stop bleeding.

I want to be honest about how solid this is: the evidence is mostly test-tube and animal work, so it's more of a caution than a sure thing. Still, if you take DHEA regularly and reach for aspirin-containing products often, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor, especially before any surgery or dental work.
