Here's the simple version: Trulicity (dulaglutide) already works to lower your blood sugar, and some research suggests flaxseed can nudge blood sugar down a little too. Stack the two together and you could end up with slightly lower readings than you expected. This isn't a chemical clash, and it doesn't change how your body handles the injection. It's more like two small pushes in the same direction adding up.

For most people this is mild, and a sprinkle of flaxseed on your oatmeal is unlikely to cause trouble. With larger concentrated supplement doses, keep an eye out for low blood sugar signs like shakiness, sweating, dizziness, or feeling foggy. Before you start a daily flax supplement, check in with your pharmacist or doctor so they can help you watch your numbers.

What Is Dulaglutide Injection Used For?

Brand name: Trulicity

Trulicity (dulaglutide) injection is used alongside diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults and children 10 years and older with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is not for type 1 diabetes.

Trulicity is also used in adults with type 2 diabetes who have established cardiovascular disease or multiple cardiovascular risk factors to lower the risk of major heart events — specifically cardiovascular death, non-fatal heart attack, or non-fatal stroke.
