Abciximab falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Garcinia interacts with.

Theoretically, hydroxycitric acid (HCA), the main active ingredient in garcinia, might increase the risk of bleeding when used with antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs.
HCA inhibits platelet aggregation in vitro. The inhibitory effect seems to be greater in platelets extracted from diabetic subjects than non-diabetic subjects.

Here's the short version on combining Garcinia with abciximab (ReoPro). Abciximab is a strong IV antiplatelet drug given in the hospital, usually during heart procedures like stenting, to keep platelets from clumping and forming clots. Garcinia's main compound, hydroxycitric acid, has shown in lab dish studies only that it can also dampen platelet activity. Stack that on top of abciximab and, in theory, you could nudge your bleeding risk a little higher.

I want to be honest: this is theoretical, based on pharmacology, not real patient reports. Realistically, abciximab is given in a closely monitored setting where bruising, oozing at IV sites, or bleeding gums are already watched for. Still, mention any supplements, including Garcinia, to your care team before a procedure.
