Amitriptyline, Perphenazine falls under Cytochrome P450 2C9 (Cyp2C9) Substrates — the group Genistein Combined Polysaccharide interacts with.

Some evidence suggests that genistein can alter the pharmacokinetics of CYP2C9 substrates and should be used cautiously with them. This has only been seen in animal studies however. (PUBMED https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29387488/)

Here's the honest picture for Triavil (the amitriptyline plus perphenazine combo). The genistein in GCP has been shown to nudge an enzyme called CYP2C9 in lab and animal studies, and your medication is partly handled by liver enzymes in that family. If genistein slowed that clearance, a little more amitriptyline could hang around, which in theory might mean more of its usual effects like drowsiness, dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, or feeling lightheaded when you stand up.

But please don't lose sleep over this. This is graded a minor, possible interaction backed only by animal data, not human studies, so it may not show up in real life at all. Still, since this is a sedating combo, it's worth a quick word with your pharmacist or doctor before adding GCP.
