Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) INDUCERS
Why this applies to Belladonna, Phenobarbital
Belladonna, Phenobarbital falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) INDUCERS — the group Hemp Agrimony interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the key thing to understand: this concern runs the opposite direction from most interactions. The phenobarbital in your Bellophen or Susano is a strong enzyme booster (it speeds up the liver's CYP3A4 pathway). Hemp agrimony's worry isn't about your medicine getting too strong or too weak. Instead, that same liver enzyme is what turns the plant's pyrrolizidine alkaloids into toxic, liver-damaging byproducts. So by revving up that enzyme, phenobarbital could theoretically make hemp agrimony harder on your liver.
I'll be honest, this is based only on lab and animal work, not real human studies. But hemp agrimony already carries liver risks on its own, so most experts say skip it internally. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before using any product containing it.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Belladonna, Phenobarbital page
“Alcohol is the interaction I would flag first for anyone taking Belladonna and Phenobarbital (Bellophen, Susano). It carries a major, well-documented risk of deepened sedation, and it has plenty of company: 78 of the 174 supplements and herbs on file add drowsiness to a barbiturate that sedates on its own, kava among the worst of them.”

About Hemp Agrimony
What is Hemp Agrimony?
- Digestive complaints
- Cold and flu symptoms
- Respiratory conditions
- Mild fever
- Traditional 'tonic' or detox use
Hemp agrimony is a traditional European herb that has been used for digestion, colds, and as a general tonic, but there is very little reliable human research to support these uses. More importantly, the plant can contain pyrrolizidine alkaloids that may harm the liver, so most experts do not recommend taking it internally. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using any product that contains hemp agrimony.
