Insulin Degludec falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Hydrazine Sulfate interacts with.

Theoretically, taking hydrazine sulfate concomitantly with antidiabetes drugs could increase the risk for hypoglycemia.
Animal research shows that hydrazine sulfate lowers blood glucose. Hypoglycemia has also been reported in some patients taking hydrazine sulfate during clinical studies. Monitor blood glucose levels closely.

Here's the concern when you pair these two. Insulin degludec (Tresiba) is your long-acting background insulin, and its whole job is to gently lower blood sugar across the day. Hydrazine sulfate appears to lower blood sugar too, both in animal studies and in some people during cancer trials. Stack one on top of the other and your sugar could drop further than you expect, raising the risk of hypoglycemia, which can look like shakiness, sweating, confusion, a racing heart, or in serious cases passing out.

This is a theory-plus-some-human-reports situation, not a sure thing, so I don't want to alarm you. But hydrazine sulfate also isn't proven to help with cancer and carries real nerve and liver risks. Please talk with your doctor or pharmacist before combining them, and check your glucose closely if you do.

What Is Insulin Degludec (rDNA Origin) Injection Used For?

Brand name: Tresiba

Insulin degludec (brand name Tresiba) is used to improve blood sugar (glucose) control in adults and children 1 year of age and older who have diabetes mellitus — including both type 1 and type 2 diabetes.

It is not recommended for treating diabetic ketoacidosis (a dangerous complication of diabetes that requires a different type of treatment). In people with type 1 diabetes, insulin degludec must always be used together with a short-acting insulin.
