Here's the thing to keep in mind: aspirin already works by making your platelets less sticky, which is exactly how it prevents clots. Lab studies hint that jiaogulan may do something similar, slowing platelets down too. So if you pair them, you could in theory be doubling up on that blood-thinning effect, which raises the chance of easy bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or a cut that's slow to stop.

I want to be honest about the strength of this, though. So far it's only test-tube and animal data, not real patient studies, so this is more of a theoretical caution than a proven problem. Still, since bleeding risk is no small thing, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before you add jiaogulan, especially if you take aspirin daily.
