Aripiprazole falls under ANTIPSYCHOTIC DRUGS — the group Manganese interacts with.

Theoretically, the risk for manganese toxicity might increase when taken with antipsychotic drugs.
Hallucinations and behavioral changes have been reported in a patient with liver disease who was taking haloperidol and manganese. Researchers speculate that taking manganese along with haloperidol, phenothiazine-derivatives, or other antipsychotic medications might increase the risk of manganese toxicity in some patients.

Here's the thing to keep in mind with manganese and aripiprazole (Abilify): this isn't really about one drug changing the level of the other. Aripiprazole doesn't need manganese to work, and manganese won't speed up or slow down how your body clears Abilify. The concern is a different one. There's a theory that combining manganese with antipsychotics could make it easier for manganese to build up in the body, which can be hard on the nervous system.

I want to be honest about how thin the evidence is. This comes from a single case report with an older antipsychotic, not aripiprazole, and in a person with liver problems. So for most folks taking normal diet-level manganese, this is very unlikely to cause trouble. If you're thinking about a high-dose manganese supplement, run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.
