Here's the simple version. Fosphenytoin (Sesquient) is a hospital medicine that your body quickly turns into phenytoin, a seizure controller. The concern with Marsh Labrador tea isn't really about how the drug is broken down. Instead, this herb is thought to add to the calming, sedating effects of nervous-system depressants. So if it nudges phenytoin's drowsy side along, you could feel more sleepy, dizzy, foggy, or unsteady on your feet than expected.

I want to be honest that this is a theoretical warning based on how the plant behaves, not strong human studies. On top of that, Marsh Labrador tea contains grayanotoxins that can be genuinely toxic, so I wouldn't use it casually. Since fosphenytoin is a careful-dosing medicine, please run this by your doctor or pharmacist before mixing the two.
