Indapamide falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Nicotinamide Riboside interacts with.

Theoretically, nicotinamide riboside may have additive effects with antihypertensive drugs, potentially increasing the risk for hypotension.
One small clinical study suggests that nicotinamide riboside can modestly reduce blood pressure in hypertensive patients. However, other clinical research did not find a reduction in blood pressure when compared with control.

Indapamide is a water pill that lowers your blood pressure by helping your body shed extra salt and fluid. The thought here is pretty simple: nicotinamide riboside (NR) may nudge blood pressure down a little on its own, so pairing it with indapamide could, in theory, add up and drop your pressure lower than expected.

I want to be straight with you though, this is a theoretical concern based on how things work, not something seen often in real life. One small study hinted NR lowered blood pressure modestly, while other studies showed no change at all. If you do combine them, just watch for signs of pressure dipping too low, like dizziness, lightheadedness when you stand up, or feeling unusually tired. Mention it to your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye on your readings.

What Is Indapamide Used For?

Brand names: Lozol, Lozide

Indapamide tablets are used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), either on their own or together with other blood pressure medications. Lowering blood pressure helps reduce the risk of related complications.

Indapamide tablets are also used to treat salt and fluid retention (edema) associated with congestive heart failure. In certain cases, indapamide may also be appropriate during pregnancy when swelling is caused by a medical condition rather than normal pregnancy changes — but routine use in otherwise healthy pregnant women is not recommended.
