Lisinopril falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Nicotinamide Riboside interacts with.

Theoretically, nicotinamide riboside may have additive effects with antihypertensive drugs, potentially increasing the risk for hypotension.
One small clinical study suggests that nicotinamide riboside can modestly reduce blood pressure in hypertensive patients. However, other clinical research did not find a reduction in blood pressure when compared with control.

Here's the gist with lisinopril and nicotinamide riboside (NR). Lisinopril lowers your blood pressure by relaxing your blood vessels. There's a theory that NR might nudge blood pressure down a little on its own, so taking the two together could add up and drop your numbers more than expected. If that happened, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, or tired, especially when standing up quickly.

I want to be honest about how shaky this evidence is. It's mostly theoretical, and the studies disagree, with one small trial showing a modest drop and others showing no change at all. For most people this won't cause trouble. Still, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before starting NR, and keep an eye on your readings at home.

About Lisinopril

What Is Lisinopril Used For?

Brand names: Zestril, Prinivil, Qbrelis

Lisinopril treats high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults and children 6 years and older, and can be used alone or alongside other blood pressure medicines. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of strokes and heart attacks. The tablet combination product containing lisinopril and hydrochlorothiazide is specifically indicated for high blood pressure.

Lisinopril is also used as an add-on therapy to reduce signs and symptoms of systolic heart failure, and to reduce the risk of death in people who are hemodynamically stable (have reasonably stable circulation) within 24 hours of an acute heart attack (acute myocardial infarction).
