Here's the simple version: Noni juice may have a mild blood pressure lowering effect of its own. Since Olmesartan (Benicar) is already working hard to bring your numbers down, adding noni on top could push your blood pressure a little lower than expected. That might leave you feeling dizzy, lightheaded, or tired, especially when you stand up quickly.

I want to be honest about the strength of this concern. It's mostly theoretical and based on anecdotal reports, not strong studies, so it's not something to panic over. An occasional glass of noni juice likely matters far less than taking concentrated supplements daily. If you'd like to use noni regularly, just check in with your pharmacist or doctor first, and keep an eye on your blood pressure readings at home.

What Is Olmesartan Used For?

Brand names: Olmesartan Medoxomil, Benicar

Olmesartan treats high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults and in children aged 6 years and older. It can be used alone or combined with other blood pressure medicines. Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of serious events like stroke and heart attack.

It is available as Benicar and as generic olmesartan medoxomil tablets, including a combination tablet with hydrochlorothiazide. All of these products are used for high blood pressure.
