Belinostat falls under P-GLYCOPROTEIN SUBSTRATES — the group Rhodiola interacts with.

Theoretically, rhodiola might increase levels of P-glycoprotein substrates.
In vitro research shows that rhodiola inhibits P-glycoprotein. Theoretically, using rhodiola with P-glycoprotein substrates might increase drug levels and potentially increase the risk of adverse effects.

Here's the basic idea with belinostat (Beleodaq) and Rhodiola. Belinostat is a chemotherapy drug that your body partly moves around using a transporter called P-glycoprotein, which acts like a pump to help shuttle the drug out of cells. Lab studies hint that Rhodiola may slow that pump down. If that pump works less, more belinostat could hang around in your system, which could mean stronger side effects like nausea, fatigue, low blood counts, or a higher infection risk.

I'll be honest with you though: this is theoretical and based only on test-tube research, not real people, so we don't truly know if it matters. Still, because belinostat is serious cancer therapy, please run any supplement past your oncology team first.

Rhodiola is an herb traditionally used to fight fatigue and help the body cope with stress. What Is Belinostat Injection Used For?

Brand name: Beleodaq

Beleodaq (belinostat) injection is approved to treat adult patients with relapsed or refractory peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL) — a fast-growing type of lymphoma (blood cancer) that either came back after treatment or never fully responded to it.

This approval is based on how well the cancer responded to the drug, including how long those responses lasted. Whether Beleodaq extends overall survival or improves disease-related symptoms has not yet been established. Continued approval may depend on results from a confirmatory trial.
