A review of adverse event reports in Poland identified cases of excessive sedation, myoclonus, hypotension, and hallucinations when rhodiola was taken with haloperidol, diazepam, or alprazolam.

Levorphanol is a strong opioid pain reliever, and like other opioids it can make you drowsy, slow your breathing, lower your blood pressure, and cloud your thinking. Rhodiola is thought to affect brain chemicals too, so combining the two could, in theory, add to those calming, sedating effects.

I want to be honest about how thin this evidence is. The concern comes from a small number of anecdotal reports in Poland where rhodiola was paired with other sedating drugs (not levorphanol itself), and people noted things like extra sleepiness, low blood pressure, or muscle twitching. It is rated as a minor, possible interaction. Still, because levorphanol is already powerful, I'd play it safe and check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding rhodiola.
