Aspirin, Omeprazole falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) INDUCERS — the group Sassafras interacts with.

In vitro research suggests that cytochrome P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) inducers might increase the cytotoxicity of safrole. So far, this interaction has not been reported in humans. Also, it is not known if CYP1A2 inducers increase the toxicity of sassafras. Inducers of CYP1A2 include omeprazole (Prilosec).

Here's the gist for your Yosprala (aspirin plus omeprazole) and sassafras. The omeprazole part of this pill can rev up a liver enzyme called CYP1A2. That same enzyme is one of the pathways your body uses to turn safrole, the main compound in sassafras, into byproducts that lab and animal studies link to liver damage and cancer. So the theory is that omeprazole could make sassafras a bit more toxic, not the other way around. Your aspirin and omeprazole would still work as usual.

Honestly, this is only seen in test tubes and animals, never reported in people. Still, sassafras has no proven benefit and the FDA banned safrole in food, so I'd skip it and choose a safrole-free product. Ask your pharmacist if you're unsure.
