Here's the simple version. Dexamfetamine is already a strong stimulant for your nervous system. It speeds things up, raising your heart rate, blood pressure, and alertness. Securinega suffruticosa contains an alkaloid called securinine that also revs up the nervous system, partly by blocking calming signals so nerves fire more easily.

Stack two stimulating effects on top of each other and the worry is they pile up. That could mean a racing or pounding heart, higher blood pressure, jitteriness, trouble sleeping, anxiety, and in a worst case, seizures (which securinine alone can trigger). I want to be honest that this concern is theoretical, based on how these compounds behave, not on human studies. Still, this plant isn't a safe self-treatment supplement, so please run it by your pharmacist or doctor before mixing anything with it.
