Here's the simple version: methamphetamine (Desoxyn) is already a strong stimulant that revs up your brain and body. Securinega suffruticosa contains an alkaloid called securinine that also stimulates the nervous system. Put the two together and you'd essentially be stacking two stimulants on top of each other, which could push effects too far.

What might that look like? A racing or pounding heart, higher blood pressure, anxiety, trouble sleeping, jitteriness, and in a worst case, seizures (securinine is known to trigger them). I'll be honest: this warning is theoretical, based on how these compounds work rather than human studies. Still, securinine isn't a safe, well-studied supplement, so please don't combine it. Talk with your doctor or pharmacist first.
